This is a fractional (1/16th) silver shekel of ancient Byblos, Phoenicia c.350-333 B.C. 10 mm and 0.8g in weight. Byblos is where we get our word for "book" and "Bible"! This is a coin of the ruler "Adramelik". The coin is guaranteed to be authentic!!!Obverse: Galley and Hippocamp.Reverse: Kneeling bull being attacked by a lion. Phoenician inscription.
