Sheathed, this piece overall is a whopping 25 -1/2 inches in length with the scabbard being 19 inches in length and the knife 21 inches overall, with a 14-1/4 inch wavy watered pamir blade of meteor metal, EXTREMELY SHARP! The hilt is a very dark patinaed brass warrior figure with tiny "jewels" in headdress and larger ones around base. Great detail! - The wavy blade exhibits the rough texture of ancient metals. The wide upper section of the scabbard is carved hard wood exhibiting raised characteristics on both sides, and has been high polished and black lacquered. The lower portion of the scabbard is wood covered with a highly decorated brass sheath, jeweled on the front side with 5 jewels. This brass sheath has also darkened over time and now is a blackish color. Entire piece "breathes" of antiquity with honest UN-CLEANED aged patina.
