This finely carved cameo features a young woman in profile with a patrician profile and even features. She has very softly upswept hair into a soft chignon worn high at the top of her head with a few gentle curls around her face. Her head is slightly turned downward that gives this elegant beauty an almost pensive look. The cameo is set in a fancy multi-prong setting with a rope border that is completely surrounded by natural seed pearls. A scalloped frame adds a lacy effect to this cameo, all in solid 14k yellow gold. T is a hinged bail on the back that converts this from pin to pendant in no time at all. This is quite the showpiece!
