This is my rare all cloth body, and hand painted molded stockinette cloth face approx 17 1/2" Bernard Ravca' "Real People Dolls" Elderly Gentleman in all original Costume. He is from 1924-1925 era (see scan of the place card that was at the table where I purchased 4 different ones - I am only selling 2 of them, and I will keep this original piece of paper in my collection). He is definitely "top shelf" and one that is very precious. He has been stored in a glass case, in a smoke free & pet free home. I have posted many pictures for you. The trousers I believe are all wool cloth? color is bright and material is not faded. I have posted pictures to show the teeny hole on one leg of his trousers (I used the zoom to capture) & 2 small holes on opposite leg just above the hem in his trousers. His front part of his vest is a silky soft material with 5 buttons, only lower two are made to appear to be buttoned. The back of his vest is a satin type material. His shirt is crisp and bright and looks minty. Socks are a beige color cotton, silky soft to the touch (no holes). Face is bright and vivid and beautifully painted NO holes, perfect stockinette. His hat feels like felt and is minty. The hands are highlighted with coloring as well. Please see photo that is between trouser pictures, he does have a hole on forefinger of hand holding umbrella.
