This is a beautiful antique (Victorian era 1868 to 1890) heavy signet cuff bracelet with NO monogram. Made of sterling silver by Samual Kirk & Sons Co. , Bailtimore MD (USA). Hallmarks: "S. KIRK & SONS, STERLING" long pre-dating the incorporate post 1925 "INC" mark added). (See photo of mark). Made between the year 1868 and 1890 which can be dirrectly authenciated at : /Kirk_Date_Code.html (At this site, mark matches right role, 3rd illustration down). Bracelet is very likely rare or hard to find. Has impressive custom made smith workmanship . Bracelet will adjust to fit most form a size 6 1/3 inch wrist up to fitting a size 7 1/8 inch wrist. Inner cirmcumference measures (from one end to other end: 6 1/4 inches + 3/4 inch inner gap. Across, inner measures: 2 1/3 inches wide (which you can alter, of course). Bar width (height) is nearly 1 inch (22.5 mm). It's very heavy. Weighs: 37.9 grams (nearly 38 grams). It was well kept and in excellent condition. Would make a nice gift. Or, own it for yourself and invest in this impressive collectible bracelet and appreciate the compliments you'll get as it's antiquity value continues to increase even more so over time.
