This is a gorgeous antique Louis Philippe Sevres lidded Trembleuse Cup & Saucer set. Hand painted cobalt blue with scrolling gold leafed vine. Louis Philippe crest on the front with the ever charming and beautiful cherub painting. One predominantly blue & 1" pink Sevres and Chateau Tuileries mark dating to 1846.Outstanding condition overall. Just bits of gold loss to cup edge, lid finial, and handle. There are some cobalt 'transfer' spots to the interior of the cup, characteristic to the age of the piece.
