Antique 1896LePage Individual Communion Cup Company Complete 35 Glass Set with Cover Up for auction is an 1896 antique Communion set from the LePage Individual Communion Cup Company of Toronto, Canada. The set includes a holding tray with a handle, 35 glass goblet cups and a removable slotted lid. Total height of assembled Communion set is 6 inches including handle. This set was crafted with great care and attention to detail! It is still in very good condition with a few minor flaws (noted below). Stated on the Manufacturer's plate: LePage Individual Communion Cup Co., U.S. Pat. Nov. 5, 95. Can. Pat. Jan. 21 96 / Toronto, Ont., Canada. TRAY Details: The tray has 35 round spaces where the 35 glass cups sit. The spaces for the cups have a notch so that when placed properly, the cups all face the center of the tray. The circular oak tray measures approximately 13.5 inches across and 2.25 inches tall (not including handle) The tray stands on 3 short wooden legs 1.25 inches tall. One flat round black rubber leg cushion is missing (see 2 nd to last picture lower left) The silver plated carrying handle is 4 inches tall with 1.25 inches protruding through the slot above the surface of the cover to allow fingers to grip handle The tray has a wooden rim around the perimeter to allow the cover to fit snugly According to the manufacturer, read more
