Antique c. 1898 English Flow Blue Touraine Henry Alcock Sugar Bowl & LidUp for bids is this late 19th century c. 1898 English Flow Blue Sugar Bowl and Lid by Henry Alcock. Measuring 6 1/2" high x 8 1/2" from end of handle to opposite end of handle. The sugar bowl and lid have a scalloped gilded edge. The rim is outlined by a 3/4" border of dark and light blue swirls and there is embossing on this. There are 4 sprays of flowers that are placed around the body of the sugar bowl.Marked on the underside with the Touraine and Henry Alcock maker's mark.Condition: There is a tight hairline crack that runs from the top rim of the sugar bowl down to 1 1/4" from the bottom rim. It shows on the inside as well. No other chips, cracks or repairs. Nice and clean on insides.
