Antiques, Fine Art & CollectiblesAntique 1910s Ships Copper Nautical Anchor Light Lampads 658 R C Murray Glasgow DESCRIPTIONThis antique nautical anchor ships lantern made from solid copper, hand made & forged dating to the late 19th/early 20th century was manufactured by one of the most prestigious nautical companies of the period. It has a bail handle with a hinged cover with maker's brass plate marked "R C Murray Glasgow". These lanterns were hoisted on to the mast when anchored to mark location, it retains its original clear lenses to signify at anchor. Early serial number of 658 places this to a date of the early 20th century.
