This is an Antique Singer Sphinx (Egyptian) Treadle Sewing Machine HeadModel 127Serial Number AB182532 dates this machine to July 1926. This machine has been properly oiled and sews very well, please see the picture of the stitch. I spun it by finger at a moderate speed and it had no problem sewing 6 layers of denim. It comes with 1 bobbin. The bobbin winder works.Overall the machine has a nice appearance. The decals are good, but have wear along the front and in the center. The rest are pretty good. The metal plates are all in good condition, but the round one on the back have surface rust in spots. The other plates around the bobbin are good. The end knob has minor rust speckles. The body is solid. Please see the pictures for details. The base measures 14.75" x 7".
