Antique, American, Empire, mahogany desk / secretary, circa 1900 . Antique, American Empire, figured Mahogany, fall front desk/secretary, with fitted interior, circa 1900. At the top of the desk is a scrolled gallery, below which is a fall fronted writing slope, which encloses a fitted interior, the interior has six vertical and one horizontal pigeon holes, t are two bow-fronted drawers with the original brass pulls. The desk is supported by two 'S' curve supports, below which is a recessed shelf, the desk stands on curved and scrolled feet. the desk has wonderful graining throughout , retains the original original finish, no damage or repair, dimensions; 42" tall x 30.5" wide x 30" deep when writing the surface is down x 18" deep when closed. A good, antique, American, mahogany Empire desk in fine condition, circa 1900.
