So Amazing! I think the metal is brass but I'm not sure. The Pendant is glass but looks like tortoise shell with 4 aurora borealis crystals around it. The links in the chain, a heart above the pendant, and elongated decorative links in brass are the same front and back, this is not cheaply made piece of costume jewelry- just look at the back of the pendant in my last photo, it's almost as beautiful as the front! Its on a pretty long chain, but the top half of it is a regular gold link chain, I'm not sure if you could see it in the pictures, but if you don't want to wear it as a very long almost flapper length necklace, it would be super easy for anybody with needle nose pliers to shorten it.
