It is Made From Sterling Silver Fully Hallmarked Birmingham 1910 with The Makers Marks 'WHH' or William Hair Hasesler. It is Oblong in Shape Engraved with Lovely Foliate / Scroll Detailing with a Vacant Cartouche in the Centre For Engraving if Required. The Lid Opens on a Secure Hinge to Reveal The Inside & is Fully Hallmarked Birmingham 1910 on the Edge Inside as Previously Mentioned........See Photographs It Has a Loop At The Side & Would Most Probably Have Been Hung on a Chatelaine Belt .....Chatelaine Losely Means 'Mistress of a Castle/Chateau' & They Were Worn in English Housesholds to Hang Useful Items On the Belt.. This Lovely Vesta Measures Approx 4.7cms (1") x 3.6cms (1 3/8") x 8mms (3/8") Deep & it Weighs Approx 24.1gs (0.850 ozs). It is in Very Good Condition For its Age with No Bad Dents or Dings, Just a Few Little Faint Marks Due To Useage......See Photographs A Pretty Old Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Vesta Case......
