This is a really outstanding example of Wilkinson's work. It is a farily common floral boarder pattern which must have been popular at the time. I have owned probaly 6 or 7 of them through the years, and this one is right up there with the best examples. Great overall look with a nice selection of glass. Maybe 6 or 7 pieces with small cracks in them, but nothing serious. Check out the background apron glass in this one, though.....its a really unusual mauve sort of color that I have not yet seen in one of these. In terms of dimensions, its a nice full sized table lamp. The shade measures 18 1/2" in diameter and the lamp stands 26" tall. The lamp is in great condition and lights up just wonderfully. The base is one of Wilkinson's better versions, and is not a simple sort of base. It has a nice warm bronze sort of color and is in fine original condition. It is stamped with the number 252 on the bottom. It has its original sockets, cast cap and finial and has been recently wired. I am offering this lamp with no reserve and it will sell to the high bidder on 2/20. Successful bidder to pay $75 shipping (the base is crazy heavy and the shade will require double boxing). Also please note that NY residents without a valid resale number will also have to pay 8% sales tax. Finally please see my other listings for some other great lamps, bases read more
