Up for sale is an antique polychrome ironstone gravy boat / tureen made by Ashworth Brothers of Hanley, Staffordshire England in the 1880's or 1890's. The pattern is known as B9461, but I have also seen it called Flying Bird. Tureen is free of any chips or cracks; just some stress cracks in the bowl part of the ladle where the handle attaches . Piece stands about 7 1/2" high. Very hard to find with underplate and ladle.I will be selling many other pieces in this same Flying Bird pattern.
