Antique Civil War era Challenge Cutlery Co Sheffield England Boot / Belt Dirk KNIFE . SHARP ON BOTH SIDES This knife is very sharp and has no nicks. Handle material may be animal tusk or bone. I can't tell the difference. The handle has a crack. (see Pic). The dirk / knife measures 7 3/4" long. Blade length is 4". Guard is nickel over brass. Sheath is solid with no missing stitches.
