This adorable black mammy rag doll is hand made . The face is painted on oil cloth.Her clothes appear original.The linen cloth apron has a lot of tears from age.The back of the sleeve on one of the arms is torn.She is well made for the times and materials available.T is different color thread.She seem to be stuffed with a cotton or wool(see photo).She is missing one of the "pearls" on her ear bobs.She is an amazing 34 inchs tall.Possibly as a companion for a child.I loved her at first sight but she needs to be in a home w she can be displayed.I will require insurance and postage for priority mail.Please email me with you city and zip code at the end of the auction Thank you for looking
