This is a fine piece of Angkor Wat or Bayon temple area with a superb deep patina in green and blue oxidation. The black wood board is a new one ( not antique ) and covered with black velvet. Nach dem Guß bei über 1350 °C erfolgen aufwändige Nachbearbeitungen (entgraten, ziselieren, polieren, ggf. patinieren und wieder polieren). Jede Bronzegießerei hat ihre eigenen, zum Teil seit Jahrhunderten gehüteten geheimen Rezepturen, die Bronze aus den spezifischen Zutaten zu legieren und zu gießen. Am Künstler wiederum ist es, die Patina von Hand aufzubringen und die Skulptur zu polieren. Ein Buddha ist ein Wesen, welches aus eigener Kraft die Reinheit und Vollkommenheit seines Geistes erlangt hat und somit eine grenzenlose Entfaltung aller ,,seiner" Potentiale erlangt hat: vollkommene Weisheit und unendliches Mitgefühl.
