BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE BRONZE CASKET WITH FIVE ENAMEL PANELS. Napoleon III - CIRCA 1850-1870 This is a lovely box in excellent condition. Each enamel placque is domed and has a black background and is decorated with a classical swirl leaf design. Beautifully shaded from white to gray and accented with gold. The panels are framed in bronze and the box sits on four bronze rocco feet. The box is hinged with a brass escutcheon, but no key. T is a retailers name engraved inside the box which reads, TAHAN Boul des Italiens, 11. The box has been relined with black velvet and tan leather on the bottom. The enamel is perfect with no scratches or nicks. Measures approximately 5" x 3" and 3" high. Remember you are bidding on an Antique and not a reproduction. Bid with confidence .
