An auction for this excellent condition antique railroad dining car pitcher from the Burlington Route or Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad. This pitcher looks to be c.1900 ironstone or vitrified porcelain, no makers marks, basically earliest of what is referred to as restaurant ware , both sides read Burlington Route in black transfer. The rim has some dark spots and one tiny tiny flea bite wear spot but no unsightly blemishes like cracks, hairlines, repairs, or chips as you can see. The orange paint on bottom will surely come off but have left as we found. Please ask questions before bidding if you have concerns.
