Antique Carved French âe~Tigerâe(tm) Oak Wall Shelf Coat Rack (K) Solid Oak, 5 âeoeCherubâe or Angel hooks, Carved Center! Direct from France, this listing is for another wonderful antique carved oak hanging wall shelf. It is one of several that I recently purchased from my source in the UK that specializes in these shelvesâe¦âe¦ and searches throughout the European markets for them!! This shelf is a wonderful size, with fabulous tiger oak grain and a mid-tone finish that perfectly enhances the French country carved center panel, scalloped and beveled edges and grooved scalloped corbels. The measurements are 31 1⁄2âe x 11 1⁄2âe x 7âe; The shelf attaches to the wall via two insets on the back. As mentioned, for those interested in comparing styles, I do have several other European wall racks listed and in my eBay store. They are extremely versatile and suitable for almost every room; although originally used as a âeoekitchen shelfâe for hanging (copper) pots and pans, they are also great for collections of any kind or as an accent piece in an office. The shelf is in good condition for its age, well made, with normal signs of age and use, dings and scratches.
