Antique blacksmiths or machinists embossed cast-iron post drill/drill press.Great-looking old tool in "straight out of the barn" condition. Drill chuck is frozedrill turns and moves like it should. Drill is marked with embossed lettering that reads "NO.12 - SILVER MFG CO. ~ SALEM OHIO USA".Flywheel measures 14 inches in diameter.Overall height of the drill is roughly 41 inches tall not ncluding the wood.The mounting board on the back is somewhat weathered/worn on the bottom and will probably need replaced.Overall, it's a good looking drill- turns easily. It just needs to be cleaned up, oiled up and it would make a nice drill for the workshop.
