ANTIQUE HAVILAND LIMOGES HAND PAINTED TIGER LILY BOWL 1881 SIGNED BY ARTIST Description: ANTIQUE CHARLES FIELD HAVILAND GDM LIMOGES FRANCE PLATE 1881-1900 DESCRIPTION: Haviland Limoges White Porcelain China plate with peach to rust chrysanthemums or carnations, blue forget-me-nots, and green leaves all of which are outlined with gold trim . The background is a peach colored glaze with brush strokes of gold gilding and white areas. The edges are scalloped with gold gilding extending from the rim inward. CONDITION: Excellent, no chips, cracks, or crazing. Little wear of gold gilding on edge of plate. SIZE. 6 inches wide 3 BACKMARKS MANUFACTURER Green Backmark Mark C-5, CFH / GDM FRANCE for Charles Field Haviland and Gerard, Dufraisseix, & Morel, Mark used from 1881-1900 DECORATOR Dark Red Back mark âe" Charles Field Haviland LIMOGES, âeoeLifesaverâe mark used from 1862.
