You are bidding on a beautiful Chinese hand embroidered silk robe jacket. Highly detailed embroidered imagery of flowers, trees, butterflies, and cranes. The embroidered work is amazing with vivid colors and attention to detail. The back of the jacket has the most amazing embroidered imagery on the top in between the shoulders and on the bottom center. The embroidery on the cranes is incredible. The jacket is in great shape for its age, all the embroidery is perfect, but the silk on one sleeve has been sewn and the silk lining is falling out and needs repair. The jacket belonged to my great grandmother who purchased it while living in Asia at the turn of the century. The silk robe jacket dates back to at least the early-mid-1800's, but possibly even earlier. *Overall length: 36 in./Inside arm sleeve length: 17 in./Outside arm sleeve length: 20 in.
