For sale is a nice old chinese kesi embroidery panel. The frame measures 13 and 1/2th inches wide by 14 inches tall. The panel central is a five-clawed gold dragon, reserved against light blue ruyi head scrolls on dark-blue ground . Kesi is a type of silk tapestry which entails the intricate hand-weaving of decorative designs, sacred iconography or calligraphy often employed for the production of imperial textile.The style of the dragon is reminiscent of those that adorn eighteenth-century . Imperial court robes. The panel in very nice conditions . there no any damages .
