Exquisite Antique Chinese Export solid Silver Bracelet fashioned of rectangular panels in solid raised designs of Rose? florals,scrollwork and a finished rope shape edge, this frames the raised prong set White transluscent Jade multilevel carvings of Bat, Grasshopper, a Fly and a figure that I don't recognize. The figures are carved with intricate tiny detail which I cannot capture in pictures, but they all sit on a carved leaf or scroll base. This piece of jewelry also is designed with smaller panels which depict what I think is a walking cane, a sword and a gourd shaped bottle. Clasp is a box type which is hidden in a panel, the hinges are secured by Silver rods which join the two pieces. MARKS: The marks are: the form of a Horse, CHINA, SILVER.. all impressed in the silver. The Silver content is likely .925 (Sterling) or higher as the bracelet polishes easily. I lightly polished the Gourd shape to see how it would look and the finish is beautiful. SIZE: 6-7/8" long x 1-1/4" ..Jade carving is 1/4" thick. CONDITION: excellent, no signs that it has ever been worn. The exact age is unknown but probably late 19thC-1910 based on all the elements and marks. A true treasure for your collection.
