Antique Chinese footed bowl, or dish, is marked with seal character as, possibly, Tao Kuang. It is, however, difficult to tell, but it would seem to be close to the age of the dish. It is decorated on the dish with a pheasant on a rock, with magnolia and flowers in bloom. The underneath side has floral decoration, and the foot rim shows a stylized wave pattern. It is in excellent condition, but does show some wear on the top decoration, and there is slight bubble from the kiln, on the face, as well. (see photos) There are no cracks, or chips. It measures 7 3/4" across, and is 2" high. A nice mid-19th century piece.
