Very old, antique Chinese red painted lacquer willow food rice basket. This is in beautiful condition for the age.....no broken parts of the Willow and very intact painting around the border (edge). This was used to store food such as rice or fruit, and was used in the countryside. Excellent condition for its age. This basket measures 15 inches in width and 10 inches tall.
