Beautiful Antique Signed Red Cinnabar Lacquer Plate Plaque Beautiful antique signed red cinnabar lacquer Chinese plate or plaque. It is in very good condition on the front with a couple of very tiny areas where the red lacquer is just a little brighter--I don't know if it was touched up in these spots. On the back, there is a missing area of lacquer approx. 1 3/4" by 1 1/4" and some white tiny spots as seen in the photographs. The plate is approx. 9 1/4" at it's widest point. It has a beautifully hand carved complex Chinese landscape, architecture and figure design with a lovely flower border. It has brass around the edge and there is a brass border on the back in the inner section. The signature is beautifully hand carved on the back. I have another matching plate on Ebay and will combine shipping. A shipping refund will be given to Canadian and International buyers after shipping if shipping, insurance and tracking is less than posted. A wonderful addition to a collection.
