Antique estate collection shaving mirror...solid brass base and mirror frame holds a heavy duty beveled glass mirror advertising Cole-Davis Cream of Leather...a strop conditioner in the day. Back side of the mirror shows the manufacture of American Specialty Mfg. Co., of Chicago, and the word patented. Great piece in very fine condition with the advertising language still clearly in place and readable. Minor loss is noted, but nothing that truly detracts. Brass shows the years of age and storage patina...nothing unexpected. Mirror does adjust back and forth within the frame for your viewing comfort. Felt bottom protects your furniture when the mirror is on display. Fabulous piece for your collection or use. Measures in at 24 & 1/4" tall as shown...the pin for holding the mirror within the stand at adjustable heights is missing...an easy replacement should you choose to do so.
