Antique Crawford County, Georgia Stoneware Monkey jug. Has alkaline glaze on top, no glaze on bottom half, as they all were . A great Crawford county jug probably made by Eddie Averett, circa 1880-1900, with overall nice glaze. Excellent as made condition, no damage or repair (see pictures). One gallon size 12" high x 6 3/4" wide (base). Hard to find form and they just don't come by very often. Excellent example. Thank you for looking, questions, please ask.
