Two packs of 32 De La Rue Bezique playing cards with slightly rounded corners, no indices and double ended court cards. Blue and white diamond pattern to backs. Also included are two bezique markers and an 1870 De La Rue Pocket Guide to Bezique by Cavendish. Exact date of cards unknown but thought to be circa 1870s/80s. Cards are somewhat dust stained with black specks and some cards creased and/or scuffed. Backs also somewhat discoloured in places. (NB I have scanned a selection of the cards but if you require any further scans please let me know). All items stored in oriental style lacquered box. One corner is broken and it has some minor scratches. Otherwise in good condition. Sadly I have no idea of the origin or date of the box but it appears to have been made specifically for cards.
