A truly spectacular antique Dresden/Germany Lamps. These were originally Urns that were made into lamps in the early 1900s. The Lamp Finials were the Urn Lids. The work is incredible and could easily be attributed to Meissen, if not Von Schierholz or Sitzendorf. This just came from the Estate of a German Immigrant Couple and I purchased 4 Porcelain Candleabrum very, very similar to this and the makers were Sitzendorf and Von Schierholz. These marks are hidden but I believe these could even be Meissen by the other collection at this Estate. The condition is remarkable!!! All fingers, toes are intact and the color is vibrant all around. To put these up for sale I examined them very closely and just noticed about 3 spots with partial petal breaks. These are very, very minor, extremely hard to detect and nothing that makes these anything but a treasure!! They stand approximately 26 inches to the top of the Finial. The "Urn" portion is app. 8x8 and the "Lids", Finials, are app. 4 inches. The lamp shades are not original and are not included. Gorgeous Base as well. Thank you for looking. A Percentage of my gross sales benefit a homeless charity so every purchase makes a difference! With your patronage, we have donated over $550.00 this year!!
