center> OFFERED FOR SALE (with NO RESERVE) IS THIS: VICTORIAN ERA HAND BLOWN ENAMELED CRANBERRY GLASS PITCHER & 2 TUMBLERS WITH GILT EDGING FROM AN ESTATE This pitcher and tumblers come from the estate of a recently passed 100 year old lady. The lady, Miss Rough (rhymes with plow), was never married and did not have any surviving relatives. Miss Rough passed away 6 months shy of her 101st birthday. Miss Rough lived in the Niles, Michigan area. When I visited with Miss Rough about 2 years before her passing, she told me that the glass in the china cabinet, of which this was one of the pieces, had been t for as long as she could remember. Miss Rough lived in the same house she was born in. For about the next month or so, most, if not all, of the items that we will be listing are from this estate. The pitcher has no damage whatsoever. It does have some of the gilt worn off from use over the years. The pitcher has an applied reeded handle which has no cracks or separation from the pitcher. One of the tumblers has a small chip on the outer rim. The other tumbler has a flake chip on the outer rim and roughness in several locations on the inner rim. This set was hand blown. The pitcher has a polished pontil. The tumblers have ground tops which was the way they were made. The decoration is of grapes, grape leaves, and vines around the upper read more
