Antique English Oak Carved Post Pedestal Floor Lamp This listing is for a beautiful English oak floor lamp, perfect as an accent piece for any décor, from traditional to casual to cottage!! The lamp has a round turned base sitting on three ball feet; the post is carved with acanthus-style design on the bottom and rounded, grooved reed design on the upper post. The lamp has a gorgeous oak finish, golden on the raised surfaces, with the color deepening in the carved and grooved areas. The photos simply don't "do justice" to the finish on this piece!! The lamp is 59" from the floor to the top of the wood; 70" from the floor to the top of the harp; The round base is 13 ½" diameter. Direct from England, I purchased this lamp (and several others that I am listing for sale), in recent English container sales. It has been rewired for US standards, with a new 3-way switch, and is ready for immediate use in your home or office! I selected this particular lamp for its classic lines and beautiful oak grain and finish. The lamp is in good condition for its age, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections.
