AntiqueFlow Blue Platter "Oriental" Beehive Mark Ridgways Very nice C1800s Flow Blue platter in the "Oriental" pattern made by Ridgways, England It measures 17 3/8" by 14 1/2" and has a nice back mark. The intensive cobalt blue mark on the underside reads RIDGWAY S ORIENTAL WR ENGLAND Ironstone Transfer ware & Hand Painted Oval Scalloped large Platter with a beautiful Cobalt Blue Oriental Scenery Motif on a Cobalt Blue Ground: typical blurred cobalt decoration & quite a bit of cobalt 'bleed' on both the front & back. It is in nice condition, no cracks, or repairs. Several blemishs on back. There is some slight surface scratching, normal glaze crazing, and discoloration in the white. The backside has some discoloration . Please look at pictures and feel free to ask questions. Great piece for the serious collector.
