This week I have a fine selection of 19th century items including some charming bronzes, tumbridgeware, boxes, vestas and other items. This rare piece is an Antique Bronze Dog ( Japanese Spaniel, Chin, or Pekingese) with a lovely colour and patination/verdigris, very fine detailing and quite heavy. Probably 19th Century. A great quality piece for the canine crafts connoisseur, with no defects or condition issues. Size is 63mm height (head to toe) 80mm (nose to tail). Question welcome.
