I SHIP WORLDWIDE PLEASE E-MAIL FOR A FIXED QUOTE I have for auction with a NO RESERVE price and a £1.00 start a Victorian antique slate and marble mantle clock circa 1880s in good working order keeping good time, the clock strikes the hour of the day on the hour and then once every half hour on a spiral gong. Rewinding will be required around once a week with the key provided.This is a excellent clock in very good order if you are looking for a classical Victorian mantle clock you may well consider this clock. The case is black polished slate with attractive green and white flecked marble pillars and inserts above and below the dial, with inlaid gold gilt engraving and gilded top finial. The case has expected age related wear and nibbling to the edges please see the photographs. The excellent convex ceramic dial with black numerals and original hands has a convex bevelled dial glass supported on a hinged decorated brass bezel. The twin train movement has the trade mark of Jules Rolez Ltd of Paris (please see photographs) . Included with the clock is a set of basic Instructions to get the best from your clock.
