A French two train visible escapement movement by Marti- emblem on back plate of movement. 7.4 french inch pendulum length. Appears in working order. Countwheel strike. Requires suspension and pendulum. Strike hammer for gong. Visible escapement in original condition with original jewels. The dial is 160mm overall size bezel over a black marble chapter ring with inset gold engraved numerals. Original hands. This movement is suitable for approx. 150mm diameter opening. Slight scratching to glass but good bevelled original glass. Movement plates 80mm diameter. Overall 100mm back to front with movement straps of 150mm approx. length. This movement has been in a retired clock restorer's workshop.
