Up for auction is a stunning antique French box. It has a beautiful design and ormolu finish. The lid has a cast bronze medallion in the center surrounded by green enamel. It measures 4 3/8" wide x 4 3/8" deep x 2" tall. The box is stamped France on the tab handle and Ovington New York on the bottom. The Ovington Brothers imported high end goods from France for their store in New York. The box is in very nice condition. Fresh out of an old estate collection.
