Antique French Louis XV Carved Mahogany Full Size Bed THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION !!! You are bidding on an Antique French Louis XV Mahogany Full Size Bed. I have ALL the matching pieces to this French antique bedroom set on Ebay and ALL of these auctions start at one dollar bids with NO reserve. The set is from the 19th Century and is Circa 1870 from France. This piece is a RARE FIND and BEAUTIFULLY carved with nicely recessed trim work. It sits on beautiful French cabriole legs with scrolled feet and a nice shell crested and carved floral pattern at the corner of the legs. The top of the headboard has a BEAUTIFUL Cartouche shell crested floral motif with a floral leaf pattern carved on each side. I took a picture of the bed with the matching nightstand that is on a separate Ebay auction so you can get a better idea on what it looks like. Throughout the piece has beautiful and exotic wood grain pattern and marquetry work as you can see in the pictures below. This piece was VERY WELL made and a RARE FIND as the entire set is available and is the REAL THING from France and a true antique made with all wood construction with quality that surpasses anything made today but Please understand that this is an antique so it has some minor imperfections on it and overall its in excellent shape.
