Antique French Normandy Lace Pillow Sham This antique French Normandy lace pillow sham dates from the 1920s. It is made of a patchwork of off white net, circular raised padded satin stitch embroidered batiste centers, and Valencienne lace trim. This lovely lace pillow sham is a work of art, and is a kind of sampler of a variety of lace techniques. T is a layered lace double ruffle edging surrounding the pillow. The pillow sham has a floral embroidered net backing, with a white satin pillow sewn inside. This pretty pillow measures 13 inches long, 10 inches wide, with an additional 1 inch lace ruffle along the sides. It is in excellent clean useable condition.
