. This is a beautiful Old Stein that my husband brought over from Germany. He said and I believe it to be dated the early part of the 1900's . As far as the condition of the Stein. It is in Good condition except for two old chips on the bottom. On the Lid appears the Name 'Andra Follholfer'. So This was a Stein that was used and loved by it's owner. It also has an HS stamped in the lid close to the name. It has a very unique handle on the lid. I have looked and looked and have not seen a handle like it yet. The incised mark on the bottom says M Germany so I will assume it was meant to say Made in Germany Also it is marked by the handle and to me it looks like an I T and the # 13. The Stein is 9" Tall the lid is about 3" tall and the handle is shaped like a tree trunk. The colors are still vibrant and the glaze is shinny with only a small amount of crazing on the inside.
