MORE PHOTOS BELOW A wonderful antique beer stein that has a brass bicyclist on the pewter lid. It's engraved with a name, "Hermann Kluck," and dated 21.3.1901. The engraved wording around the edge of the lid reads "Fur Erinnerung," and "Steglitzer Radfahrer Verein 1896," which I think refers to the name of a bicycle club. The mug part is heavy glass. Stein measures 7.25"h at highest point x 3.5"dia. Condition: There is a small chip on the bottom where it rests on the table. No other chips, cracks or repairs. Age-appropriate wear.
