Great condition original Westerwald Sauerkraut Topf! I lived nearby in Idar-Oberstein Germany where I acquired this crock. This is an original German - made in Westerwald Salt Glaze Crock. It's capacity is 2.5 L, which is written in cobalt on the crock. It has two ear shaped handles and a clean glazed interior. The cobalt designs are classic to the region.
