This is an absolutely superb antique hallmarked sterling silver three piece teaset comprising of a teapot, sugar bowl and jug. The teapot measures 9 1/4" (23 cms) across including the handle x 5 1/2 " (14 cms) x 6" (15 cms) tall to the top of the lid , the jug is 4 3/4 " (12 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 2 3/4" (7 cms) tall to the top of the spout and the sugar bowl is 3 3/ 4" (9.5 cms) across x 2 1/2" ( 6.5 cms) high. The teapot is hallmarked for Sheffield 1909 and the sugar bowl and jug are hallmarked fo r Sheffield 1908 all with the silversmiths mark for Thomas Levesley and a ll three are in good condition with just a few light surface marks that you would expect. This lovely set is particularly nice as it has the lacey rim decoration on all three items - they weigh 774 grams the lot.
