Antique, handpainted stamp box with floral design, gilt accents. Box is lidded and is about 4 1/4 by 2 1/4 by 1 1/2 inches. Inside, t are 3 sections for stamps of different denominations that have sloped bottoms, for ease of removing stamps. The lid is very irregularly shaped and has jagged edges. I cannot be absolutely certain that t isn't a chip on the edge, but I cannot see an area w paint is missing. T is a chip on the inside of lid, which is easy to see in the last picture; it is a thumb-shaped divot that does not affect appearance in any way. Painting is quite fine: a big daily, multiple pink and lavendar roses , dots of yellow, and chevrons of pink. Gold accents. Very nice, unmarked stamp box.
