We are listing for your consideration a lovely Antique 19th or early 20th century Hand Made Large Patchwork Block or Squares Quilt. This quilt is in excellent condition with some very slight wear, mostly around the outer edge in some of the small blocks there are a few very small hard to see tears, and a couple of faint very small dot stains. We did not clean the quilt. We guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The quilt measures 86 1/2" x 85" and weighs approximately 4lb. Wonderful hand sewn patchwork of multi colored 9 block squares that are on a background of various striped & blocked pink & white which is bordered by turned squares of the dark brown & floral. Great early and varied prints to the block fabric. Everything on the quilt appears to be hand stitched, the back of the quilt has some stitch line areas at the one end, and a single stitch line at the other end that are possibly machine as well as the outer stitch line on the back at the outer perimeter. They appear to have been sewn to the large one piece linen backing to extend it at the ends to complete it.
