Antique French Catholic Holy Card First Holy Communion Mint Condition and has Lace Edges Black and White Wood Cut style print! The picture is absolutely awesome to behold! A young girl is in a kneeling position with a prayerbook and a basket of fruit in front of her, as well as a Cross with a figure of Mary holding the baby Jesus. A ray of light is shinning on her face and if you follow the ray of light it goes up to the heavens and you can see The Mother of God sitting on a throne with a scepter in Her hand and two Angels kneeling before her with the Holy Eucharist suspended above a Chalice on each of their hands, while other adoring Angels are on either side of the Blessed Mother. The print is filled with symbolic meaning and the Holy Card is rare. An inscription on the back in French with a prayer in French on the back.
