Circa 1925 Antique Hubley Manufacturing Company Arabian Sheik Bookends * These are super rare and are very hard to find in the Hubley painted version! * Measure about 6" x 5", Extremely heavy - they are solid cast iron * A+ patina! This is what you want to see in Hubleys! Spots where there is some missing paint only adds to value! The attention to detail is incredible! These have never been repainted, no touch-ups, and they are in pristine, solid condition! There is felt on their bottoms so they won't scratch surfaces. These are very rare and will make a fantastic investment piece as they will only go up in value! Hubley Manufacturing Company was incorporated in 1894 in Lancaster, PA by John Hubley. They were highly diversified in their product line which included: cast iron toys cars, motorcycles, doorstops, bookends, and desk accessories. They are particularly well known for their detailed 1:25 scale metal kits from the 1930’s. Their products are all highly collectible and have lasted for generations.
